Briefcase Lite: Overview
With Briefcase Lite you can:

Connect – Connect to and browse computers
on a local network.(Windows support is not available for Briefcase Lite and limited for Briefcase.)

Download – Securely download Pages,
Numbers, Keynote, Word, Excel, MP3, M4V, PDF file and more. You can also receive
files from the iPhones of other Briefcase users.

View Files – Open your files and
view them on your iPhone.

Upload Files – Securely upload
files stored in Briefcase Lite to another Mac while performing functions specific to
the file type: set an image file as a desktop background or add it to iPhoto, for
example.

Briefcase vs. Briefcase Lite: Feature Differences

Connection – Briefcase Lite users
can connect to and Macs and Linux machines on a local network only.

File Download – Briefcase Lite
enables you to securely download files, but not directories.

File Upload – With Briefcase Lite,
you cannot upload files to another iPhone. They can, however, receive files from
other iPhone users. Likewise, disk images and installer packages can be uploaded to
another machine, but you do not have the option to perform the related actions
(e.g. Mount Disk Image or Install Package).

free of charge. Briefcase pricing is $4.99.
